On Saturday July 12th, we will be hosting a special wine seminar focusing on domestic pinot noir and other wines and cheeses. The event is meant to be accessible to both wine neophytes and experts. The seminar will begin with a short history of US winegrowing and production, and then launch into a series of about a dozen wines with a strong focus on aged CA Pinot Noir. We will start with domestic sparkling wine, do some dry whites and then focus in on Pinot Noir, visit Napa for a Cab or two, and have some wonderful domestic cheeses as well. <BR><BR>The idea will be to taste and discuss the flavors of US wines, pinot noir in particular...and come to some understanding to how these wines age and fit into table.<BR><BR>Expect three hours of fun and flavor education with Wes Hagen and the Clos Pepe crew. Limited to 16 participants.</P>
